ART GALLERY

LIFE IS ART!

The phrase “Life is Art!” was inspired by Edwin’s late mother, Gail Peacock (1938—2014), who was a popular artist and art educator who taught at local schools and small colleges. Her private art gallery, Art on East Morehead, also serves as the offices of Pomfret Financial and features many of her works.

Art in all its forms was the essence of Gail. Throughout her life, she was deeply involved in artistic efforts in a broad range of media. Over the years, she worked in pastels, acrylics, oils, watercolors, batiks, sculpture, paper mâché and several other art forms. Gail’s creative energy inspired multiple generations of students and friends alike, but most especially her husband and two sons.
